We understand that writing a blog carries risks. We may find people who will agree with us from time to time, but more likely we will find that our provocations will stir people up.That is OK.
No, it is more than OK. Our goal is to stir people up, but not without purpose. And the purpose is to shake people free from traditional ways of looking at life -- especially religion.
Because people tend to take their religion seriously, however, challenges to religious traditions may cause people to want to respond to our provocations. If that is what happens, great! Then we will have achieved our purpose.
Take all this as a sincere invitation to correct us and rebuke us if you read here anything that you think is Biblically incorrect. However, we do not want to hear from people who just don't like what we have written because it conflicts with their cherished religious traditions.
